At Triple-X we don’t just talk about sustainability just because it is fashionable…. it is a passion for us.

For many years we have been offering our customers a selection of high end recycled fabrics which are 100% regenerated nylon yarn derived from pre and post industrial waste such as discarded fishing nets and other waste – over 10% of waste in our ocean is fishing nets! – once they have reached the end of their useful life, they are often dumped in the ocean or placed in landfill.

8 million tons of wastes end up in our seas every single year.
640 thousand tons of fishing nets are abandoned at the bottom of the ocean.
(data sourced from FAO and UNEP)

Our fabric suppliers do their best to recover and regenerate these nets and other waste and by means of a complex chemical-physical process create durable fabrics for our garments which are made from a new polyamide yarn boasting the same features as virgin nylon in terms of performance and quality, but with the plus of not having been produced with the use of non renewable fossil raw materials.

We need to change our approach to recycling radically –  We need to be more aware of the situation and change our mentality completely.

The re-cycled Lycra fabric used in triple-X products is sustainable techno-fabric, made of regenerated Nylon that turns waste problems into fashion and interior solutions. It is versatile, hyper-resistant, thin, elegant, stretch, soft and breathable: a unique mix of muscular compression and comfort. Thanks to its innovative construction, it is twice as resistant to chlorine and suntan creams and oils than competitors’ fabrics.
