In team news!
Paul Moffat former professional surfer, big wave charger, Maroubra lifeguard/legend and long time Triple-X team rider was all over the news last week .
Moff was involved in the rescue of a 27 year old manswept through the storm water drains to Lurline Bay off the coast of Sydney,New South Wales.
Many newspaper articles appeared throughout theNational press, detailing the heroics of Moff, his lifeguard mate PeterHalcrow and other Air and Sea Rescue crew.
I would like to make special mention here that a couple of months before Christmas, Moff became a new father, to Kai Steven Moffat.
This for me just highllights the selfless and heroic nature of Moff's actions, knowing he has a little life like Kai's to care for and yet still putting himself in harms way to rescue another life.

Greetings Friends, This is a link that can be posted on anyones myspace, or website, in order to share the reality of Dolphin kills in Japan.
It should be known that Japanese do not support the Dolphin Kills, it is only the fishermen and the Fisheries Industry that want this killing to continue. And only for the purpose of money.
When we disrupted their killing process on Monday, they did not yell '' go away !! you are interfering with our traditional kill, our cultural right!! '' Instead they screamed " go away!! you are interfering with my business!! you are stopping me from doing my business''.
Our goal is to expose the reality of these kills to Japanese public, at this point all information coming to them is via those who have a vested interest. CAn we trust words that come from someone who has a vested, bias position within this issue??
I appreciate the way our global surf community is rallying right now, and know that with this movement of respect and preservation the culture of surfing has the ability to be a powerful and meaningful family of people.
No human would feel the sadness of a polluted ocean without Whales and Dolphins the way us surfers would. We are doing what we can to make that a future that never manifests.
