Merimbula Divers Lodge

Merimbula Divers Lodge is a Padi 5 star Instructor development centre situated on the far south coast of New South Wales Australia. We certify approx 200 recreational divers a year and cater via our charter boats to approx 4000 certified recreational divers per year. Our water temp varies from a low of 11 degrees to a high of 24 degrees.

As an Instructor I do approx 200 dives a year, each dive lasts for up to 1 hour, I was seriously considering purchasing a dry suit for winter use and then Don Munro of Triple:X: called to see us, he showed us his 1mm vest and full length steamer range and allowed us to trial his products, simply the results were way beyond our expectations. His 1.0mm steamer has replaced the 3.0mm suits we used to wear & I now wear one of his 1mm vests, as do the other instructors, under our 5mm 2piece wetsuit and now feeling cold has become a thing of the past.

Another area we have found his product excels in is after the dive, you can peel the 5mm wetsuit down and the titanium neoprene of the Triple X vest means a zero windchill factor on the boat ride home. The suits also have a neutral buoyancy factor & don't compress.

Having used my suit approx 150 times plus lending it to prospective customers it is still in as new condition which to me is a surprise as I give it no special treatment, the added bonus of not having to carry any extra weight is also a godsend.

Overall we have no hesitation in recommending this product to anyone in the dive/surf market.
